EM&I & Stark Energy Featured in Offshore Africa Magazine!

EM&I Group and Stark Energy Ltd have collaborated to enhance asset integrity management (AIM) in West Africa’s FPSO sector. The partnership, highlighted in Offshore Africa Magazine, focuses on on-the-job training (OJT) for engineers in Ghana, Angola, and Côte d’Ivoire.

Neil Woodcock, DRD for Africa, recently reinforced the partnership, now fully approved and certified by the Petroleum Commission of Ghana. The project integrates development of skills for delivery of ROV UWILD services, ODIN® techniques, NDT inspections, and valve isolations to optimise safety and efficiency.

This collaboration not only improves asset integrity and the delivery of EM&I’s innovative services, but also fosters local content development and knowledge transfer, contributing to sustainable growth in the region.

Neil said; “Localisation and knowledge transfer is the only way forward, and our partnership with Stark Energy reflects our dedication to fostering local talent and advancing the energy sector in West Africa”.
