EM&I Leads the FloWind Joint Industry Project

Set up in July 2021, the FloWind JIP aims to bring together specialists from different fields to share vital insights into asset integrity challenges and solutions faced by the rapidly growing floating offshore wind sector.

EM&I is responsible for leading the FloWind JIP which is attended by members from major Classification societies, government representatives, mooring system specialists, floating structure designers and operators, integrity specialists and, more recently, insurers.

The FloWind JIP is dedicated to furthering the safety, integrity and regulatory compliance needed to drive the floating offshore wind sector forward and achieve energy security.
